Tim Konitzer

January 28, 1955 — October 19, 2024

Tim Konitzer, 69, Freedom, died early Saturday morning, October 19, 2024 at a Green Bay hospital, following an acute illness.  He was born January 28, 1955 in Green Bay to Marcel and Marie (Vorron) Konitzer Sr.

On December 7, 1974 he married Deb Siebers in Kaukauna and they had two children.  Tim worked as a mechanic and truck driver for all of his life in the area.  He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls and served as a volunteer fireman for the Oneida Fire Department for 13 years, the past 20 years in an honorary capacity.  Tim will be lovingly remembered as a caring and loving son, husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and as one who opened their home to care for numerous children.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Deb Konitzer; their two children, Amy (Matt) Ruehle; Justin (April) Konitzer; nine grandchildren, Angela, Brie and Beka Ruehle, Kai and Jake Konitzer, Logan, Ellie, Mya and Emily Bahr; three siblings, Bill (Janey) Konitzer; Lana Geurts; Roger Konitzer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ginny Konitzer; Brian, Larry (Chris) and Richard (Sherry) Siebers; Jeff Schoepke, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents and in-laws, Mary (Ron) Rank and David Siebers, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe (Diane), Marcel Jr. and Allen Konitzer, daughter-in-law Tanya Knox, brothers-in-law Aaron Geurts and Bruce Siebers and sister-in-law, Diane Shoepke.

Graveside services will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Oconto Falls.  Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls is serving the Konitzer family.

The Konitzer family would like to thank the nurses and staff of St. Vincent Hospital for the care and consideration shown Tim and his family.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Special Olympics of WI.
