Roger Allen Radke, 89, Denver, CO, formerly Oconto Falls, WI, died Saturday morning, May 18, 2024. One of 17 children, he was born November 29, 1934 to William and Wanda (Schmidt) Radke in the Town of Oconto Falls. He attended Oconto Falls Public Schools and graduated high school with the class of 1952. Following high school, he attended UW-Madison before moving to Michigan City, IN where we worked in banking. In 1957, Roger entered the US Army in Fort Carson, CO and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX and later Wuizburg, Germany. Upon his honorable discharge from the military, he made Denver his home where he worked in banking for five years before owning and operating Creative Rentals for many years. His business rented props and decorations for displays, meetings, conventions and parties. Upon his semi-retirement, Roger owned an antique and gift shop for five years.
Survivors are his six siblings, Martha Schroeder, Helen Wiese, Rollyn (Ruth) Radke, Reuben (Lorraine) Radke, Donald (Jeanne) Radke and Patricia Magnin; two sisters-in-law, Carol and Anne Radke; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Herbert (Evelyn), Arthur (Mary), Kenneth (Lois), Fred (Delores), Alfred and Bruce Radke and four sisters, Evelyn Stueck, Marcella Pflanger, Florence (Larry) Froehke and Irene (Edward) Baker and three brothers-in-law, Thomas Magnin, Robert Schroeder and Joe Wiese.
Private services will take place in Denver.
