Randall “Randy” Pagel

Randall “Randy” Pagel, 64, Appleton, formerly Oconto Falls, died Saturday morning, August 17, 2024 at home of natural causes.  He was born December 25, 1959 in Oconto Falls to Leslie Sr. and Jeanette (Smith) Pagel.  Randy grew up on the family farm, attended Kelly Brook grade school and graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1978.  On October 1, 1988 he married Maureen Coffey at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Suring and the couple had three sons.  Randy worked as a self-employed contractor in both residential and commercial projects, instilling a strong work ethic in his sons.

Survivors are his two sons, Adam (Jessica) and Jared (Allison) Pagel; two grandchildren, Noah and Henry; his mother, Jeanette Pagel, one brother, Brian (Dan Johnson) Pagel; two sisters, Sandra (Don) Shave and Amy (Tom) Vanden Langenberg; two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Marie Pagel; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Sr., son Chad in 2007, two brothers, Leslie Jr. and Daniel and one sister, Kathryn.

Visitation with the urn present will be held after 9:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service.  A prayer service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Town of Spruce.
