Patricia A. Gallagher

Patricia A. Gallagher, 84, Suring, died early Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay.  She was born April 18, 1938 in Oconto Falls to Albert and Frances (Wetzel) Gallagher.  Pat grew up in Oconto Falls where she attended public schools and graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1956.  Following graduation, she attended beauty school in Green Bay.

On November 1, 1958 she married Leonard Deering in Gillett and they had five children.  Pat lived in the Suring area where she raised her five children and once worked at Seneca Foods in Gillett.  She was a former member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Maple Valley.

Survivors are her five children, Terri Dedrick, Green Bay; Scot (Sheri) Deering, Shawano; Carmen Ortiz, Lago Vista, TX; Daniel (friend Anne) Deering, Menominee, MI; Kenneth (Gina) Deering, Crawfordville, FL; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one sister, Rochelle “Shelly” (Chuck Stolte) Mueller, Seymour; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Judy Temple and Cheryl Gallagher and one great grandson Carson Peronto.

Visitation with the urn present is after 2:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2023 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service.  Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Olson officiating.
