Kathleen (“Kathy”) Dorothy (Simmons) Bohlmann, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the age of 74. Kathleen was born on April 29, 1950, in Milwaukee. She graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1968. She married William W. Bohlmann on May 18, 1974, at St. Margaret Mary in Milwaukee. Together, they had three children: Joey (Carrie) Bohlmann of Hartland, Sara (Andrew) Schoon of Green Bay, and Kristine (Robert) Gohsman of Lake Forest, IL; and was “Granny” to three grandchildren: Mallory, Alex, and John. She was also survived by her loving brother, Gary Simmons, best friend, Cyndie (Ed) Reinheimer, and many cousins and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Jayne Simmons, her sister-in-law, Penny Simmons, and her beloved soulmate of 46 years, Bill Bohlmann.

Kathy dedicated 27 years to working as an Accounts Payable Accountant at Storage Battery Systems and formed many lifelong friendships while there. She loved spending time in nature, especially listening to the loons on Wheeler Lake and experiencing the sunsets over the lake.

She will be greatly missed for her kind heart, warm smile, generosity, and energetic spirit. As we mourn the loss of our dear Mom/Kathy, we also celebrate a well-lived life that left an indelible imprint on all those fortunate to have known her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to The Wheeler Lake Association PO Box 337, Lakewood WI 54138 are appreciated or via the website. https://www.wheelerlakeassociation.org/.
