John “JP” Paige, 33, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Sunday morning, January 21, 2024 at home. He was born January 8, 1991 at Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany. Because of his mother’s career in the US Air Force, John moved back to the US at the age of 2 years to Shaw AFB in South Carolina. He also lived at Air Force bases in Colorado Springs, CO, Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina and Dover AFB in Delaware. “JP” then moved with his family to Crystal Falls, MI and graduated from Forest Park High School with the class of 2010.
John was employed at Grady Foundry in Kingsford, managed fast food restaurants and was a welder at Marinette Marine. He then moved to Walton Beach, FL where he worked at the Crab Trap. John returned to Wisconsin and was currently employed at ST Paper in Oconto Falls. As someone who liked to cook, he enjoyed food and being the life of the party. “JP” will be fondly remembered for his free spirit, kind heart, making others laugh and willingness to help others.
Survivors are his mother, Donelle (Kevin) Lefebvre, Oconto Falls; his son, Alaric Wesson Paige; four siblings, CJ (Austen) Greene, FL; Billy Paige, Oconto Falls; Samantha (Brad) Zima, Green Bay; Ben Paige, MI; his nieces and nephews of whom he was so fond of, Audrina, Carter and Gunner Greene; River Zima.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dolores McMullen and special Uncle Jeff Craig.
Visitation will be held after 12:00 noon Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service at 3:00 PM Tuesday.
