Jacqueline “Jackie” Lynn Carriveau-Vorpahl

December 2, 1966 — November 8, 2021

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lynn Carriveau-Vorpahl, 54, Oconto Falls, gained her wings due to complications from ALS on Monday, November 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and went home to be with Jesus and her father, whom she missed so dearly every day.  She was born December 2, 1966 in Oconto Falls to Dennis and Ruth (Demmith) Carriveau.  Jackie grew up in the Lena area where she attended public schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1985.  Following high school she attended NWTC and became a dental assistant.

On September 28, 1996 she married the love of her life, David Vorpahl at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lena.  Shortly after their marriage, the couple purchased a home outside of Oconto Falls.  Jackie was employed at Schneider National in Green Bay for over 20 years.  She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls.  Over the years, Jackie enjoyed snowmobiling, camping and participating in off road racing with her family and friends.  As a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife and mother, Jackie loved being with her family, attending all of her children’s activities and collecting all kinds of favorite “keepsakes” of her kid’s accomplishments.

Survivors are her husband, Dave Vorpahl, Oconto Falls; their three children, Joshua (Wendy), IA; Mariah (Michael) and Logan Vorpahl, all of Oconto Falls; her mother, Ruth Carriveau, Lena; her grandmother, Rachel Carriveau, Lena; her three siblings, Chad (Jessica) Carriveau, IA; Sandra (Larry) Bowman, Cedar Grove; Tad (Samantha) Carriveau, Lena; her in-laws, Gary and Norene Vorpahl, Pound; one sister-in-law, Debra Coppens, Oconto Falls; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis, her grandfather Wilfred “Denny” Carriveau and maternal grandparents, Francis and Marian Demmith and Irene Demmith.

Visitation will be held 3:00 until 7:00 pm Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls, prayer service 6:30 pm Sunday.  Visitation will continue after 9:30 am Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls until the time of service.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Monday at the church with the Rev. Fr. Patrick Beno officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
