George Morris Sr.

George Morris Sr., 89, Stiles, died suddenly Thursday, November 28, 2024 at home surrounded by family.  He was born March 14, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN to George and Elsie (Valentine) Morris.  As a young man, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.  George lived in the Stiles area for most of his life where he was self-employed as an automobile mechanic and body man.  He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoors man.

He is survived by his partner in crime of 40 years, Barb; two sons, George Jr. and Richard (Kathy) and their son Ryan Morris; he was “Pa” to Barb’s children, Scott (Jackie) and their children Abby; twins Brady and Riley; Lisa (Tom) and their sons Ben and Mason; one brother Steve (Jean) and one sister Susie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bob and one sister Shirley.

Private family services at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls and burial with military honors will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
