Ethel Siegler-Pasko, 102, Oconto Falls, went to her heavenly home Friday morning June 9, 2023 at The Cottages at Meadowlands. She was born June 29, 1920 in the Town of Oconto Falls to Paul and Lydia (Mayer) Wudtke. Ethel grew up on the family farm in rural Oconto Falls where she attended public schools, graduating high school with the class of 1939.
On October 28, 1939 she married F. Earl Siegler in Oconto Falls and had two children. While living in Oconto Falls, Ethel worked at the local Red Owl and Ben Franklin stores for 25 years and later as a CNA for 17 years at the local hospital. Her husband Earl preceded her in death in 1983. On April 25, 1992 she married Edwin Pasko at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. The couple lived in Shirley, IN for their married lives where they enjoyed traveling all over the United States, Alaska and Canada. Following Edwin’s death on September 11, 2009, she moved back to Oconto Falls where she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors are her two children, Elroy “Ez” (Jill) Siegler, Stoughton; Charlotte (Ken Lornson) Klimpke, White Lake; one stepdaughter, Ruth Alemeida, IN; six grandsons, Pastor Patrick (Mel) Siegler, Madison; Gregory Siegler, Naperville, IL; Brian, John (Tammy), Robert (Michelle) Klimpke all of Oconto Falls; Jim Klimpke, River Falls; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, Oliver; and many other step-great grandchildren.
Beside her parents and both husbands, she was also preceded in death by son-in-law Claude Klimpke, two brothers Walter (Louise) Wudtke and Martin (Elsie) Wudtke and two stepsons Raymond and Rex Pasko.
Visitation will be held 4:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. Visitation will continue after 9:30 AM Thursday, at the church until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
