Allan Williquette, 81, Stiles, died Monday evening, February 20, 2023 at the Meng Residence in DePere. He was born June 23, 1941 in Two Rivers to Clarence and Julia (LaFave) Williquette. As a young man, Al would drive a small family boat and fish between Two Rivers and Manitowoc in all kinds of weather. He also served in the Army National Guard.
On June 17, 1967 he married Jo An Bukowski at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls. The couple once owned and operated Al & Jo’s 141 Club and then Al worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stiles. Al enjoyed hunting, fishing, target-shooting, playing pool and following sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed inventing gadgets and all kinds of carpentry projects.
Survivors are his wife of 55 years, Jo An Williquette, Stiles; their two children, Angie (Fred) Williquette, Fond du lac; Doug Williquette, Green Bay; one grandson, Austin Williquette; one sister, Donna Erdmann, Two Rivers; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe (Suzi) Bukowski, Oconto Falls; Ken (Bonnie) Bukowski and Tom Bukowski, all of Gillett; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Bob (Chris) Williquette, one brother-in-law Russ Erdmann, one sister-in-law, Mary Bukowski, two nephews Scott and Chuck, many cousins and “Lady Dog”.
Visitation with the urn present will be held from 12 noon until 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls with a prayer service to follow. Private graveside services will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Stiles at a later date.
The Williquette family would like to thank Unity Hospice for their compassionate care given their husband, father, grandfather and brother during his stay at the Meng Residence.
