Alan J. Delsart

July 21, 1953 — March 1, 2025

Ashwaubenon

Alan J. (Max) Delsart, 71, Ashwaubenon, passed away on March 1, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 21, 1953 in Oconto Falls, WI to Millard and Eunice (Delfosse) Delsart.

Alan graduated from Oconto Falls High School class of 1971. He went on to attend NWTI and earned his degree to work as an electrician. Alan had a lifelong career at Proctor and Gamble, starting in 1973, retiring in 2011. During that career he learned how to perform every job in the building. Electrician, forklift operator, semi driver, he could do it all! Alan answered any and every call from P&G when they needed his skills.

Alan married Christine Moynihan on November 9th, 1974. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Alan and Christine had two children, Becky and Justin.

In his spare time and into retirement Alan enjoyed biking and walking all over town. His bike route was Ashwaubenon to Wrightstown to Bay Beach and back to Ashwaubenon. In the winter months Alan walked in the mall. Any other time of the year he walked all over Ashwaubenon. Alan also enjoyed fixing things. He always had a lawn mower or snowblower to fix.

Alan is survived by his wife Christine, daughter Becky (Ed) Brady, son Justin (Andrea), 5 grandchildren Kiley (Dalton) Guyette, Eden Delsart, Reagan Brady, Gus Brady, Ruby Delsart, and his great granddaughter Sylvia Guyette. Alan is further survived by his brother Robert (Mary Zielinski) Delsart, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Eunice, his in laws James and Marie Moynihan, 2 sisters in law Theresa Miles and Anita Moynihan, and 6 brothers in law Paul Nelson, Douglas Curran, Roger Tarlton, Clyde Rusch, Ken Miles, and Jerry Olson.

Alan and his Alan-isms will be greatly missed by all that knew him. His favorite phrases were "what's the indication" and "don't crack your skull". He liked to refer to the discount area at metro market as "the fuzz drawer".

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Paul Shen, the staff at St Vincent hospital, especially Amanda, Brock, Joe, Patrick, and Kristina from 5th floor CVICU, and Sarah from 6th floor ICU. Your dedication and compassion to Alan for 12 days was immeasurable. We cannot thank you enough.

Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Service on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow after at St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
